The Gender, Women's and Sexuality Studies (GWS) program offers four undergraduate paths: a B.A. major, a GWS minor, an LGBT Studies minor and a Girls' Studies minor. As a field of study, GWS questions beliefs, attitudes, assumptions and norms about gender, women and sexuality and how they intersect with race, ability, nationality and class. Students build the critical thinking, research and communication skills to understand and offer real solutions to problems of gender, women and sexuality in national and transnational contexts. Learn more about GWS as a field of study on our About page.
