Make an Impact on Health — Locally and Globally!
Global health shapes so much of what we do, from pandemics and climate change to migration and access to care. What happens in one part of the world affects communities everywhere. The Global Health (GLH) minor provides opportunities to understand these connections and prepares you to tackle some of the most pressing health challenges of our time.
This minor builds skills in cross‑cultural communication, health equity, and interdisciplinary problem‑solving, skills valuable for careers in public health, research, education, international development, nonprofit work, and more.

Catalog Year Considerations
The Global Health minor begins in the 2026–27 catalog year.
To add the minor, you will need to switch to the 2026-27 catalog year on all of your programs of study (Gen Ed, major(s), other minors). This is because the university does not allow students to have a mix of catalog years among their programs of study. Talk with your academic advisor before making this change.
How to Declare the Minor
To declare a GLH minor, use this Google Form: Request for Change/Addition/Deletion of Major, Minor, Certificate, or Catalog Year.
Select the 2026–27 catalog year if you are currently in a previous catalog year.
Add the Global Health minor.
