Where is the Living Learning Center (LLC) ? What is the LLA?
The Living Learning Center (LLC) is a U-shaped building @ 301 Bodenheimer Drive. The designation LLA refers to the academic side of the LLC and is the home base of the Department of Interdisciplinary Studies.
If you are at the LLC standing at the top of the stairs looking down toward main campus, the LLA part of the building is on your right. At the bottom of the stairs, the LLA is on your left. There is an elevator inside the LLA.
Fun fact - the App State Nature Preserve is just outside the LLC!
Two easy ways to get to the LLC / LLA from Central Campus:
- Ride for 6 minutes— Appalcart Gold Route from College Street Station or the Peacock Hall stop to the LLC, then walk up the LLC driveway.
- Walk for <10 minutes - from Rivers St. near the Duck Pond, walk between the Duck Pond and Newland Hall, turn right behind Newland toward Wey Hall, walk behind Wey Hall and continue up the steps to the LLC. See the campus interactive map if you are not familiar with these building references.
